What is this

To sign property Deed, to obtain Mortgage or even to just open a bank account in Portugal you need to obtain Fiscal Number (Tax Number).

To do that you need Fiscal Representative that will attend Tax Office and act as you tax agent. All correspondence will then be sent to your representative who will be responsible for contacting you and delivering to you any requests and tax bills.

We can help you with obtaining your Fiscal Number. To get the number it takes as little as 1-2 working days (4-5 for companies).

What it costs

Private Individuals:   100 EUR (then 100 EUR renewal every year)

Companies:              200 EUR (then 200 EUR renewal every year)

What is needed to obtain Fiscal Number

Private Individuals: we will need a copy of the first page of your passport and proof of your address

Companies: copy of the Certificate of Incorporation, copy of Memorandum and Articles of Association, copy of the Minutes of the First Meeting of company Directors, Portuguese Fiscal Number (see above) of the Director of the company.
